Attention Journeymen: We are offering an NFPA 70E class this month. It will take place over two Saturday sessions, Aug 22 and Aug 29. See our class schedule for more info and to sign up. Remember that under the new collective bargaining agreement, you may be eligible for contractor reimbursement!

Check out the Journeymen upgrade courses we just added to our schedule! Courses such as OSHA 30, PDUs, NFPA 70E, and Master's Prep will be offered this summer and early fall. You can view the courses and register on this site (click "Register for JW classes" under the Apprenticeship menu)! Feel free to contact the office with any questions.


Construction is wrapping up on Washington St.! Washington is open in both directions, and 54th Ave. is open, so getting to our other building no longer requires a detour.


Completing apprentices, SAVE THE DATE! Your completion ceremony will take place on the evening of Friday, September 25th. We look forward to celebrating your achievements!


Check out the "Electricians Industry Night" event tonight! This is a hiring event hosted by the IBEW 68 and NECA. Opportunities will be available for CW/CE work, and apprenticeship information will be available, too.


3rd, 4th, and 5th year apprentice craft certification retraining for the exam portion ONLY is postponed until further notice. Hands-on evaluation retraining will take place as originally scheduled. We will be contacting those affected with further information as it becomes available. Thank you!


Plenty of changes have been taking place at the DJEATC recently. In the past few weeks, we've welcomed Patrick Alley, Bryce Bartlett, and Ryan Horne as new additions to our office team. Patrick and Bryce are our new Training Coordinators, while Ryan is a Staff Instructor (in addition to current Staff Instructor Kevin Wontor). Each has a strong history in the electrical trade and with the DJEATC/Local 68. We're excited to see how they'll help continue to build and improve the apprenticeship program. Feel free to stop by and make their acquaintance!


Please be aware that there is major construction in progress on Washington St. Currently, 54th Ave. is blocked from that direction. If you are going to our 54th Ave. building, be sure to go around the back way using Franklin St. See map below.
