Q: What is my "Tradeschool" account?
Tradeschool is the name of our database for journeymen and apprentices alike. By logging into Tradeschool, you will be able to sign up for CEUs and other upgrade courses, view past courses that you have taken, and update your contact information.
Q: How do I set up an account/log in for the first time?
Q: How do I sign up for upgrade courses?
First, create or login to your Tradeschool account (see above). At the top of the page, click on "Class Schedule." By default, only classes taking place in the current month appear. To look at classes in upcoming months, click the links on the left side of the page, or search by location or class name. When you find the class you want, click "View" for details. If you would like to register for the class, click the green "cart" icon to add it to your class cart. On the right side of the page, click "Proceed to checkout" and follow the instructions from there.
Q: How do I pay for upgrade courses?
Payment is due at the time of registrations (if registering online or over the phone). At that time, you can pay via credit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
Q: Do you sell code books?
Yes, we sell the 2023 NEC code book (paperback) for $125, or the hardcover handbook for $230. We also sell tabs for $20.
Q: Do you sell other books and tools?
Yes, we sell course textbooks and other resources, such as the Ugly's book ($15). We also have information for ordering leather tool pouches, but we no longer sell these at the office.
Q: Can I get a copy of a certificate for a class I took in the past?
We keep photocopies and/or scanned versions of certificates for most upgrade courses in recent years. We can provide a photocopy or emailed version of your certificate free of charge. If you need an original version of your certificate, we will charge $5 for creating a new one.
Q: Can I get a letter or affidavit verifying that I was an apprentice or stating the number of hours I worked?
Yes, we can usually provide this information. Please contact the office via phone or email and provide your name, dates that you were in the apprenticeship, and exactly what information you need.
